Reuters Exclusively reported Kenya, Tanzania, Senegal and Cameroon have run out of supplies of the vaccine to prevent the deadly rotavirus infection in children, or are close to doing so after a disruption at drugmaker GSK. The World Health Organization estimates that 200,000 children die each year from highly contagious infections, which are the leading cause of severe, dehydrating gastroenteritis in children under five worldwide.
