Godzilla and King Kong are cinematic characters that thrilled audiences when they first appeared on the big screen in 1956 and 1933 respectively.
Since then several movies have been made with each character including the director Roland Emmerichof 1998′Godzilla‘ and director Peter Jackson2005’sKing Kong.’ In fact, Godzilla will also return to cinemas on December 1 when the new Japanese movie ‘Godzilla minus one‘ opens in North American theaters.
There have also been attempts to combine the two characters in the same film, such as the current Monsterverse series of movies that include 2014’sGodzilla‘2017’Kong: Skull Island‘2019’Godzilla: King of the Monsters,’ and 2021′Godzilla vs. Kong,’ as well as the upcoming 2024 movie’Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire,’ and new Apple TV+ series’King: Legacy of Monsters,’ which premieres on November 17th.

French nuclear tests irradiate an iguana as a giant monster that attacks cargo ships in the Pacific. The pair soon find a helpless baby monster that Godzilla must learn to adopt and raise as one of his own.
