Peerzada Ziauddin Shinwari, a Norwegian citizen of Pakistani origin, reached Landi Kotal after traveling across sixteen countries on a motorcycle.
Ziauddin Pirzada arrived in Pakistan on Sunday after a 22-day visit from Oslo. Ziauddin Peerzada, originally from the Pirkhel area of Llandikotal, but now living in Norway, started the journey on his bike which he called Leo. He loves world travel and exploration.
Additional Assistant Commissioner Ramiz Ali Shah, Landikotal Press Club President Khalil Gibran, local elders and police officials welcomed him at Michni check post near Torkham border. 59-year-old Ziauddin Pirzada was presented with a bouquet of flowers. He received a briefing at the Michani check post and was received there.
Ziauddin later reached Landikotal Press Club and spoke to reporters about his journey. He said his goal was to travel around the world on his bike. The biker said he left Oslo on May 2 and traveled through 16 countries in Europe and Asia, arriving in Landikotal on June 4.
