Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M) has been ranked as the best institute in India as per the latest overall NIRF Ranking 2023. Minister of State for Education and External Affairs Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh released the ‘India Ranking Report’ for 2023 at 11 am today. The ranking factors described by the official website are — teaching, learning, and resources, research and professional practice, graduate results, outreach and inclusion and perception.
NIRF ranks colleges and universities based on various factors such as teaching-learning and resources, research and professional practice etc. NIRF has rated universities in the following categories: Overall, Engineering, Pharmacy, Colleges, Medicine, Law, Architecture, and Dental.
