After the tour of Australia, Pakistan will tour New Zealand to play the white ball series in 2024. The New Zealand Cricket (NZC) tabled the offer in May 2023 and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has accepted, according to reports.
The proposed series could consist of five T20Is or three ODIs. Both the cricket boards are in talks to finalize the schedule of the series which will be held after the conclusion of Pakistan’s tour of Australia which ends on January 7, 2024.
According to reports, the series could begin in the second week of January as New Zealand have a free window before the home series against South Africa in February. Notably, Pakistan toured New Zealand for a T20I tri-series in October 2022 before the T20 World Cup where they emerged victorious defeating the hosts by five wickets in the final.
The two countries have played a lot of cricket against each other in recent times as New Zealand toured Pakistan twice. The Kiwis first toured the country for a Test and ODI series starting in December 2022, followed by a T20I and ODI series in April.
