Manipur violence

According to the council, the subject has only been shifted to Class 11 textbooks as part of rationalization efforts to reduce the burden on students in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Janardhan Prasad has been appointed as the new Director General of GSI
One of the oldest companies in India, Geological Survey of India (GSI), has named Janardhan Prasad as its new Director General.. Dr. S. Raju, who held the position since May 2020, replaced Prasad in the role. Prasad is a geologist well known for his extensive mineral exploration work in Saurashtra and other parts of Gujarat. He started working for the 174-year-old scientific organization at GSI Gandhinagar in 1988.
