The National Testing Agency (NTA) and preparing to conduct Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2023 Session today, June 4. Candidates with less than 2,50,000 JEE Main 2023 rank were allowed to register for JEE Advanced 2023. On May 29, NTA had issued the JEE Advanced Admit Card. Candidates name, application number, date of birth, signature, exam date, photograph and exam center information will all be included in the JEE Advanced Admit Card.
JEE Advanced 2023: What to Carry?
The only items that can be carried into the examination facility are pens, pencils, clear water bottles, admit cards and an original photo ID card.
As per the guidelines, candidates will not be allowed to take the exam without admit card. Those without valid admit card and authorized photo ID (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving Licence, Voter ID, Passport or School/College/Institute ID) will not be allowed to appear in the examination under any circumstances.
JEE Advanced 2023: Exam Day Guide
- Students are advised to reach the examination center two hours before the commencement of JEE Advanced. Candidates who come to the center late will not be allowed to take the exam.
- Using unfair techniques to conceal communication equipment such as microchips, cameras, Bluetooth devices, etc. or cheating in exams is prohibited and may result in legal action.
- All electronic devices, printed, handwritten or blank paper, log tables, writing pads, scales, erasers, geometry/pencil boxes, pouches, calculators, pen drives, electronic pens/scanners, wallets, handbags, cameras, goggles and similar items. forbidden
- Before entering the examination center, all applicants must undergo extensive and mandatory searches.
- It is not recommended to wear clothes with charms/Tawiz, metal accessories like rings, bracelets, earrings, nose pins, chains/necklaces, pendants, badges, brooches and large buttons. Candidates should wear open shoes like slippers or sandals.
- Candidates will not be given any extra time to complete the examination.
- Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination hall before 12:00 PM and 5:30 PM for Paper 1.
