According to the UPSC marksheet, Ishita secured a total of 1,094 marks with 193 marks in the personality round and 901 marks in the written test.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) May 23 Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2022 result declared. More than 5 lakh candidates participated in this very challenging exam. From this large pool, around 5,000 candidates were shortlisted for the personality round and finally, 933 applicants were recommended by the commission.
Among these successful candidates, Ishita Kishore, a graduate of Delhi University’s Sri Ram College of Commerce, secured the highest rank. Ishita’s marksheet has now received a lot of attention on social media after the username ‘UPSC Notes’ shared it on Twitter with the caption ‘Ishita Kishore AIR-1 Main Marksheet’.
According to the marksheet, Ishita secured a total of 1,094 marks with 193 marks in the personality round and 901 marks in the written test. He chose International Relations and Political Science as his optional subjects (V and VI respectively) and also took General Studies Papers I, II, III and IV.
Ishita Kishore’s Subject wise marks in Civil Services Exam are as follows: In Essay Paper (First Paper), she got 137 marks. For General Studies I (Paper II), he scored 121 marks. Ishita secured 130 marks in General Studies II (Paper III), while she secured 88 marks in General Studies III (Paper IV). His performance in General Studies IV (Paper V) was commendable with a score of 112. Ishita secured 147 marks in Optional I (Paper VI) and an impressive 166 in Optional II in her chosen elective, Political Science and International Relations. Paper VII).
During a recent interview with Free Press Journal, Ishita Kishore expressed her gratitude for the unwavering support she received from her family throughout her journey. With her mother working as a school teacher, her brother working as a lawyer, and her late father, an Indian Air Force officer, who served as her primary source of inspiration, Ishita felt fortunate to have them by her side.
Despite setbacks in her initial two attempts, Ishita’s family perseveres and stands by her, not letting disappointment overshadow their faith in her abilities. Reflecting on her path to success, Ishita emphasized the importance of discipline and consistent study to clear the UPSC exam. He devoted around 8 to 9 hours daily to his studies and diligently tackled numerous mock tests as part of his preparation.
According to the UPSC CSE rank list, after Ishita Kishor, Garima Lohia has bagged the second position, Uma Harti N has secured the third position and Smriti Mishra has claimed the fourth position.
