Grammy-winning rapper Young Thug and a racketeering co-defendant conducted a hand-to-hand drug deal during a court hearing, prosecutors said in a motion filed in Atlanta.
Fulton County prosecutors said the alleged exchange was captured on courthouse surveillance video Wednesday.
The rappers, whose real names are Jeffery Lamar Williams and Kahlif Adams, are accused Conspiracy Other allegations include violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and participation in criminal street gang activity.
According to the motion seeking clarification of the record, Adams “stood up from his chair (…) and walked without attention” to Young Thug and gave him the Percocet.

He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital after he was “observed receiving contraband on his person in an attempt to conceal the extent of his crime in court.”
During the search of Adams, deputies found Percocet, marijuana, tobacco and other contraband, “wrapped in plastic and food seasoning to mask the odor of marijuana,” the motion said.
Percocet It is the brand name of a drug that combines oxycodone, which is an opioid, and acetaminophen, which is the generic name for drugs like Tylenol.
Keith Adams, an attorney for Young Thug, told CNN WSB-TV, “His side is the truth. The reality is Mr. Williams had nothing to do with what happened in the courtroom yesterday.”
Adams also told WSB Young Thug did not know the Percocet had been handed to him.
An attorney representing Adams, Teombre Calland, released a statement via text message to WSB-TV, saying: “For Mr. Adams, these allegations are just that: mere statements made by the state in an attempt to thwart the lengthy jury selection process.”

The rapper was initially charged in May with conspiracy to violate RICO laws and participating in criminal street gang activity.
A re-indictment filed Aug. 5 in Fulton County Superior Court charges him with nine new charges, including participating in criminal street gang activity and violating the Georgia Controlled Substances Act.
He was also charged with other charges of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a machine gun.
Jury selection is underway.
